External Information
SingleDraft connects your documents to official external registries. When a company name, statute reference, or land parcel appears in the document, the plugin retrieves and displays the relevant data in the sidebar. You can also search registries manually.
Company information
Section titled “Company information”Automatic detection
Section titled “Automatic detection”When the plugin analyses your document, it identifies company names and ID numbers. For each match, the Checks tab displays a company card with data fetched from the relevant public register:
- Company name and legal form
- Registered office address
- Company ID number
- Registration details (court, file number)
- Share capital (where available)
- Mode of acting
- Date of incorporation
- Warnings (e.g. company removal, court file issues)
If the company name in the document does not match the registry record, SingleDraft flags the discrepancy. The same applies to the registered address.
Manual search (Registries tab)
Section titled “Manual search (Registries tab)”To look up a company that is not mentioned in the document:
- Open the extended menu (grid icon in the top-left corner of the plugin).
- Select Registries.
- Choose the country from the dropdown.
- Type the company name or ID number.
- Select the company from the search results.
The search requires at least 2 characters. For Polish companies, you can search by the KRS number.
Pre-formatted specifications
Section titled “Pre-formatted specifications”After you locate a company, SingleDraft generates a pre-formatted specification text that you can copy into your document. Specification formats are available in the local language and in English, in both basic and full variants.
Available format languages depend on the country:
| Country | Format languages |
|---|---|
| Czechia | Czech, English |
| Slovakia | Slovak, English |
| Switzerland | German, English |
| United Kingdom | English |
| Poland | Polish, English |
| Croatia | English |
| France | English |
| Austria | English |
A basic format typically includes: legal form, registered address, country, and company ID. A full format adds: jurisdiction of incorporation, registering court, and file number.

Statutory information
Section titled “Statutory information”SingleDraft links statutory references in your document to their full text. When the plugin detects a mention of a statutory provision, it checks whether the section exists and whether the statute is still in force.
Alerts appear when:
- A referenced section does not exist in the statute.
- The referenced statute has been superseded or repealed.
You can view the full text of the statutory provision directly in the sidebar.
Supported in Czechia.
Land registry (cadastre)
Section titled “Land registry (cadastre)”For land parcels mentioned in the document, SingleDraft verifies the parcel against the official land registry. It checks:
- Whether the parcel exists.
- Whether the parcel type stated in the document is correct.
You can also download detailed cadastral data (rights, encumbrances, documents) directly from the plugin. This requires Cadastre API credentials configured in External Services.
